Stephen Bartley and his wife are NOT the parents of William A Westbrook. His father is William Westbrook, born in England, came to America on a ship for a felon and was indentured for several years. This is proven both by records in England and the Virginia historical society.
Also, the birth dates and location to Stephen proves he is not the father of William. He never lived in Georgia.
William is my 4th great grandfather.
