Sometimes when I click on a Record Match icon in Geni, a page opens in MyHeritage (where I am also logged in), but there is no record and nothing to confirm.
Am I doing something wrong?
It happens to me at times also. I think the databases can lag.

You might try to refresh the counts on the Geni profile and try again.

use the yellow symbol to refresh the count
