His name was really John Wesley Tanner. He is my great grandfather. He had three wives: Nancy Finch or Fincher, Catherine Neely and my great grandmother Almedia Davis who was his last wife. Their son Clarence Wesley is my grandfather. All their other children died as babies or small children.
