Isaac lived in a small cabin on our farm here near Sicamous, British Columbia, Canada. The cabin was located on the rise behind the barn. He passed away when I was quite young. My memory of him was when he gave me oranges and chocolate through the window of his Cabin. According to my uncle he got wounded in the First World War. Before that he worked on the railway as a section man hear Pritchard. He was in the battle of Vimmy Ridge. It sounds like he helped with some things around the farm so he could stay there.
He had mentioned to my uncle that he had relatives that lived on Vancouver Island near Vancouver. Not sure how or if they were related. I think it might have been a niece and her family.
It would be wonderful to find and talk to some of his ancestors. I would have some information to give them about their relative, Isaac.
