Erasmus Schmidt - Fake ancestral line

Private User says The Cape records say he was born at Holstein.

This is Schleswig-Holstein, a German principality bordering on Denmark and from time to time part of Denmark.

Holstein, Sontra, Kassel, Hesse, Germany is shown as his place of birth.

It is frozen and can't be changed.

Even if he was born in Hesse, which he was not, it is impossible for him to suddenly have parents born in a completely different part of Germany.

Furthermore, going back each generation becomes even more incredible, and finally lands up with a fictitious couple called Pflug.

Such stupidity and vandalism should not be allowed. Even the same town is shown in about 5 different states.

Also:

It seems to me that the parents of the immigrant are unknown. The records only say he is from Holstein.

In the absence of any known parents he should be disconnected from the fake/false parents.

The rest of the line going back to Nickel Pflug is either a fantasy or parts of a real tree have been merged with fantasy.

The best is to detach the immigrant from all ancestors and freeze the profile so that he cannot be connected to fake ancestors again.

The rest can be sorted out by deleting the obviously fake profiles.

Will detach parents and lock the Relationships on this profile, pending some decent primary sources being found.
