Catherine Gordon (Mulroy) - John Gordon born 1817. Son born 1840s?

I believe John Gordon married to Catherine Milroy, may have had another child in the 1840s. A John Gordon who married a Mary Teresa Kelly in Castlebar. I cannot find a record of a previous marriage or birth certificate for John Gordon born around 1845. But DNA would point that way.
