Elyakim (c.1839 - c.1919) grew up in Galicia where he married his first wife, Hani Markovits, with whom he raised a family. Unfortunately, his wife passed away at an early age, and he remarried Hinda (1851 - December 10, 1937), the daughter of R' Isaac Preiss from Kosice. They moved to Kosice and had three children. While there, he changed his surname from Uri to Uhr, which means emperor in Hungarian.
Leo (Yitzchok Yehuda) (Nov 1863 - 1950?) was born in Tiszakarad (a village in Borsod-Abauj-Zemplen county, Hungary) to his Galician parents under the given name of Lajos, as per vital records. He married in Karcsa, Hungary, on 2 Sep 1891, to Sari, daughter of Ignac Schwartz and Roza Rottenberger. Right after the marriage Leopold came to the USA aboard the SS Eider in Sep 1891. The 1900 - 1940 censuses shows Leopold living in Manhattan with his wife and children. His wife Sali passed away 26 Jan 1944. Leopold himself passed away 21 Oct 1951 with a last recorded address in the Bronx. Exteneded family believe his final resting place to be in Washington Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY, but no tombstone was found for him.

girl (18?? - 1???) came to the USA at a very young age. She may have been married to a Balkani. If this is true, it would fit with Theresa, who was the mother of a Tibor Alfred Balkany (15 Sep 1897 - 20 Mar 1971) that came to the USA in 16 Nov 1920, as Tibor Balkanyi. He lists his parents as Joseph and Theresa (nee Uhr) on his 1923 marriage record to Irene Kraynak. He also lists Robert R Balkany as next of kin on his WWII draft registration.
Rechel (c.1890 - May 22, 1944) married R' Pinchas Tzvi (Ha'Kohain) Rubin (Nov 7, 1886 - May 22, 1944), son or R' Menachem Munish, of Somtor, in southern Slovakia. They lived in Kosice and had about 9-10 children. They both perished in the gas chambers of Auschwitz during the Holocaust.
