Based on a few records in Wilkes, NC Sarah Scott was the daughter of Thomas Scott who died in 1793 Wilkes, James Spparding sold Thomas Scott 290 acres of land in 1793. That land was deeded to William Scott son of Thomas. William must have died before 1802 because his broth Thomas Scott, Jr sold that land in 1802.
