Robert Mercer Jr., born 1737 to Robert Mercer and Ann Mounce died in 1767 intestate and an inventory was registered. His cousin Robert Mercer was born to William Mercer (Robert Mercer Sr.'s brother) and Martha Mounce (sister to Ann) in 1746 and is the Robert Mercer who served in the Revolutionary War and died in New Castle, DE in 1793.
