I do not believe she is linked to the correct husband. Her family is from Indiana. This Hawkins family is from Lewis County WV.
My records show John Hawkins married Sidney Fisher September 1827, she died about 1850. After her death, John married Jane M Turner in Lewis Co., VA 1851. She dies before the 1860 census. On the 1860 census, Jane Turner's mother and sister are living in John's household with his children. I believe he died before 1870 because his 2 youngest children move to Somerset, PA and are living with Jane's sister Harriet and her husband, William Leyman.
