I have a question

My issue is with whats on my gedcom for John M. Rogers and what if it hasnt downloaded yet and I need to change that. Do I have to just make a note to watch out for him. Is there anyway to skip a download for him in my gedcom in advance? It may have downloaded but I am not sure how to find it. I didnt see it when I tried to look for him
