My 3rd great grandmother Hannah Hillery and her Father and siblings all worked in a lead ore mine and on the 1860 census for Marrick Yorkshire in the rank, professions and occupations column is another job that is called a lead ore dresser. And when she was 16 this was Hannah's job it was the process of sorting out the raw materials (bouse) extracted from the mine.
