I am just beginning with Geni. I manually added myself, Carl Kaplan Then I used SmartCopy from Ancestry to add my father (Asa Kaplan) and my mother. Somehow it changed my father's name to mine. I then edited my father's profile, and edited the name from Carl Kaplan back to Asa Kaplan. Everything else was fine. However, under my father's name it says "Yourself", and the whole tree is oriented around my father. How do I fix that? Thanks in advance. As I said, I am new. If this is the wrong place, or wrong way to ask this question, please let me know.

Okay, so what has happened I think is that you were on the FamilySearch profile of your father Asa and opened the SmartCopy app. When you first open SC it asks you to identify which Geni profile is a match for the website you are looking at. I believe in this instance you have identified that the Geni target profile was yourself.
The correct method would have been to view the FamilySearch profile representing yourself and then open SC to link the FS profile to your Geni profile. This would have added your siblings and parents to Geni and after that you could have opened your father’s FS profile and activated SC from it to copy his parents and siblings to his Geni profile.
I will try to correct what currently exists for you.
