Recorded history and mythological characters

This project mentions lot of people that are characters of folk stories and myths. Should they be considered as real people? Their lineage is difficult to ascertain and lot of people may claim to be descendants.

Other collaborators can add profiles of people who have some historical record. Like the kings in the pre-medieval time period.
