Isaac Mayfield, Jr. - Too many children?

I don't what the sources are but some family trees have Isaac and Mary having 16 children. Are you questioning the number of children because of what is listed on Find a Grave?

Not necessarily. I just disconnected a child to merge with a duplicate that belonged elsewhere and noticed the FAG said two wives but something was off at first sight and I didn't mean to do research on the line because I am working in another area today.

Hopefully there are no issues and the child I merged for elsewhere was just a tagalong that got caught up

For me, I was only concerned up until George W Mayfield. It is obvious the dates are off if all those children were born after Jane Jean Baxter Mayfield died. Some additional work needs done.

With the little research on Ancestry that I have done this morning, other family trees have Jean Jane Baxter Mayfield dying in 1795. Another tree has her marrying Isaac around 1764 which is after her so called death in 1763. So, if those who created this profile can check the dates perhaps this can be resolved.

Ok. Found it. William D is actually William Isaac and someone made a profile for William Isaac where he is Geni married to his own mother.
Let me work on it since no one else has been able to get to it.

Not his mother but someone of similar najme--- he has four wives per the FAG memorial. Someone gave him a duplicate with a fifth wife with a Gedcom upload

Thanks. I meant that I only had information regarding George W Mayfield and his descendants. Thanks for working on this. It seems to be a tangled web.

I updated their names--- I think the FAG memorials have some confusion that has added to the profiles getting messed up.

Removed death date of mother because she could not have died at age 16'ish unless there is another wife/mother not yet showing.

Will continue to ask for assistance in getting these sourced--- is there a will?
Found several Germanna connections and was bale to connect them with those researched KNOWN such and such... and profile for Serelda says she lived to be 107 (I have an ancestral auntie that absolutely lived to be over 105 so yes, I believe it).
This is what remains of the Consistency Check alert now:

FAG shows John and John Wesley as siblings so may need to flesh them out to see if that is true...
