She was the wife of my grandma's brother Carlo. She was born in Rijeka, 2. September,1897 and died in Rimini, 24. April, 1978. My problem is that couldn't find her in the FS databases. Watching their microfilmed sources, she appears in an index, but, of course, without parents. Church book covering this year is missing. I suppose her surname is not too frequent. Can anybody help me?

Only one Ilijašić married in Rijeka between 1848 and 1885, indicating that his was possibly the only Ilijašić family there. And even he was not a local, but from Boljun. Unfortunately no children can be found in the birth index between 1883 and 1889 so it's hard to tell if he was Ana's father.

My Aunt Anna Kovacevic nee Stefanac was born Jan 3, 1896 in Calumet, Michigan and married Matte Kovacevic April 7, 1920. Matte died May 23, 1963. Anna's parents were Luka Stefanac, born in the village of Klanac, of the township of Severin in the county of Vrbovskoi, on October 18, 1869. Anna's mother was Marta Vrbanac. They were married in Calumet, Michigan on January 18, 1892. They had 12 children my dad was the 12th born in 1913.

Luka's father was Josip Stefanac and mother was Katarina Krupic from the village of Damalj.
