I used your link on your previous pot to look up Ciceley Reynolds. In the notes below the the familly tree bit you will find a couple mentioned Captain William Pierce and wife Jane. You have to press read more for them to appear. Well just by chance they are listed as having taken Cicilley Reynalds on the Ship The Swan 1610. As he is called Captain maybe he was. She is definitly listed as a passenger I have looked this up. Her father Reynalds is listed as being from Graves End, which is on the Thames and diredtly opposite Port of London so the obviouse place to sail from. This Ceciley Reynalds married a Mr Bailey and her daughter Temperance was born 1616 or 1617. He was 36 she was 17 She went on to marry Samuel in 1620. It is the mention of Captain Pierce that seems to tie them together Maybe you are related to the very flirty Ciceley, she certainly married much older men all rich. My relationship to her is that Samuel is my 9GG there for she ia a step GG!! Jude
Cecily Farrar was an “ancient planter” (original property owner) in her own name by age 25. Many have tried to place her origins, including suggesting she was shipped off to America at age 11 or so for being excessively flirty, but no success as yet. My own opinion is they she was the ward (related to) a couple on the Swan of 1611. Certainly Capt. Pierce is possible. The Reynolds Family Association would love to claim her, they commissioned excellent studies, but as of now, they are certain they cannot say who her parents were.
