Thomas C Franklin - Are they the same?

I'm honestly not sure. I am not quite that far up the tree on my dad's paternal side with the Franklins. I checked my tree on Ancestry and cannot find him, though I see here on Geni that I'm related to Thomas C Franklin by blood and by marriage on my dad's side.

My dad was an NPE so I'm still running up his line as his (recently deceased) father didn't have any genealogy completed aside from his mother's close family.

I wish I could be more assistance, but I'm in the dark on this one.

I've removed the one I had on Geni, so that should remove any confusion since I'm not sure.
