Elisabeth Parker into Elizabeth Parker

https://www.geni.com/merge/view?revision_id=76203235400

Was this a good merge?
She has two husbands named Parker and her name and one of the husbands' name was changed to NO NAME. I see that sometimes when folks do not know how to fix a relationship---

Is there someone available that is familiar with this person pre and post merge?

Also, her husband became a (No Name) Parker. Resolved. (With sourced info from Find a Grave. Also Hints / Smart Matches line up as well, not only with profiles, but with parents' profiles as well).

Very nice.

Hmmm--- here is WHY she has two different death dates per the individual profiles that were merged:

Consistency Check:
Elizabeth Parker (Parker) is under 12 years old for the birth of her child Thomas Parker.
Elizabeth Parker (Parker) is under 12 years old for the birth of her child Mary Harwood (Parker).
Elizabeth Parker (Parker) is under 12 years old for the birth of her child Ebenezer Parker.
Elizabeth Parker (Parker) is under 12 years old for the birth of her child Lucy Barron (Parker).
Elizabeth Parker (Parker) is under 12 years old for the birth of her child Sarah Senter (Parker).
Elizabeth Parker (Parker) is under 12 years old for the birth of her child Elizabeth Wright (Parker).

These may need addressed?

https://www.geni.com/merge/view?revision_id=82191510580 has a husband Peter Parker showing so likely they are his?

Well, the death date of the '2nd' Elizabeth (1709) was transcribed as a new birth date, that's the reason for the inconsistencies.

Birth: September 26, 1709
Chelmsford, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, Colonial America
Death: September 1754 (44-45)

For the Elizabeth born 1676, would make her 55 yrs old at the birth of her youngest child.

Also, the overview in FaG for the Elizabeth born 1691 does state some sources as to the dates.

Chelmsford VRs, Births, Pg 106
Parker, Elisabeth, d. Mosis and Abigall, Dec. 26, 1691.

Concord VRs, Marriage, Pg 80
"Ebenezer Parker and Elisabeth Parker were married by Justice minott August 13 day 1712"

Chelmsford VRs, Deaths, Pg 422
Parker, _____, w. Ebenezer, bur. Sept. 7, 1754

Also, the family members on FaG for Elizabeth (1691) are consistent with what's on Geni.

So, I would suggest that, at the very least, the profile of Elizabeth Parker (1676) is incorrect.

Please let me know your thoughts.

Sometimes people make a profile NO NAME because they can't disconnect or correct and don't ask for help.

I try to bring attention to those profiles that I run into that have issues and hope that others will work on correcting whatever is wrong with a profile.
More often than not, there simply are not enough profiles (people) in the Big Tree and people smush together same or similar people

Greg Stessel is Elizabeth Parker (Parker)'s 7th great granddaughter's husband.

Elizabeth Parker (Parker) is my 7th cousin 8 times removed.

I am not closely enough related to continue and absolutely trust you have the best interest in getting the family group correct.

Holler if you need help.

It may be some time before others weigh in but help is available
:)
Thank you for working on them

I do understand about the rush to smash families together just because a name or date seems right. I guess this is part of what makes this fun, unravelling the mysteries.

In this case, I'm going to go ahead and switch the dates back to what I believe (at this time) to be the more substantiated profile. Of course, like you, I ultimately want our tree to be as accurate as possible.

Good chatting with you, and let's see if / when new or more accurate information comes in.

Happy 4th,
Greg
