Richard Kent and wife Sarah Doane had a son William Kent born. married and died in Maine.
My ancestor William Kent b NC d AL was not related to the Maine Kents and we do not know when the NPE birth happened but 3 of his descendants have matching Y DNA but match any other Kent anywhere. they match dozens of Carlisle men of various spellings
