Per 23andMe I am Paternal Haplogroup I - P109 and Maternal Haplogroup H6. Per Family Tree DNA I am Paternal Haplogroup I- M253 (from which I-P109 mutated via I-L22), and I am part of Group K, Pierce Project North, which are the descendants of George Pearce b. 1607 in England. Paternal 1st cousins of my mother match the descendants of Hans Jacob Bowman / Bauman 1718 - 1803. Those Bowmans are Paternal Haplogroup I-M223.
