I think we need to slow down and be more cautious with the merges. My Edmund Parke Bacon of Lunenberg County is not the same person as the son of George Lyddal Bacon. He was the son of John of New Kent County. These families intentionally used the same names repetitively, and they did so for hundreds of years up to roughly the Civil War period. My correct tree has been mangled and my Edmund has been merged out of existence. Let's just be cautious, okay? My thanks, Barbara Bland
