Apparently Jane was married in Massachusetts.
Francis appears to have moved to MA in 1643.
So it makes sense that they met and married after 1643.
On the other hand, there's this:
Francis Littlefield went to Woburn, Massachusetts, and married Jane, daughter of Ralph Hill, of Plymouth, Massachusetts, who died December 20, 1646, leaving a daughter Mary, then four days old, and who died soon afterward. Soon after the death of his wife and child he went to Dover, New Hampshire
But Mary supposedly lived until 1719 and married twice.
Also, Jane supposedly had only one child, but is listed as having three children, Mary, Edmond, and Joseph.
