Hi all,

Do you have historical records that show that following:
a. Herz Warendorf - father
b. Amalie Warendorf (Friedberg) - mother
c. Bernhard Baer Warendorf - son
and following:
1. Naftali Herz Warendorf - father
2. Matel Warendorf (Wetzlar) - mother
3. Pesse Pauline Leah Gans (Warendorf) - daughter
Are the same people?
So, Bernhard and Pesse are brother and sister?

I found historical records for the existence of the first list (a,b ,and c) in: http://www.familienbuch-euregio.de/genius?person=81501
and the second list (1, 2 and 3) in: https://books.google.co.il/books?id=07DO-VFtuqIC&pg=PA166

Maybe there were two Herz Warendorf?

Thanks,
Maoz

Hi all,

Quoting from Eduard Gans Family Collection -> Series I: Genealogy of Gans and Lande Families, undated, 1830-1982 -> "Skizze einer Geschichte der Familie Gans," Walter Lande (?), undated -> page 54 at the bottom:
"Isaac Jacob Gans hatte jung Pesse Warendorf geheiratet, Tochter von Naphtali Herz Warendorf und Rahel Jente Bückeburg. starb am 12.3.1798 und ist aur dem jüdischon Friedhof in Celle begraben."
Translation by Google: "Isaac Jacob Gans married Pesse Warendorf at a young age, daughter of Naphtali Herz Warendorf and Rahel Jente Bückeburg. died on March 12th, 1798 and is buried in the Jewish cemetery in Celle."

So according to above, the parents of Pesse Warendorf are Naphtali Herz Warendorf and Rahel Jente Bückeburg.

The questions are:
Two persons that are called Herz Warendorf?
One person that is called Herz Warendorf and had two wives: Matel Wetzlar and Rahel Jente Bückeburg? Seems like Matel died young.

Thanks,
Maoz Guttman
