Re: Catherine (Katya) Edwards (Sokolova) died at Burford Hospital in Oxfordshire in Feb/Mar 1976.
Resided in London in the early 1920s for a short period and never returned..
Re Pyotr Ivanovich Sokolov. According to FSB trial transcript he was sentenced to 3 years imprisonment in a labour corrective camp (Karanganda) from January10th 1935.
Re: date of death, you are correct - On release he returned to Moscow, was re arrested and executed by firing squad on 9th December 1937. (source Ildar Galeyev)
