Several Master Profilers enter France all the time instead of Francia or Royaume des Francs. I won't quibble. I do recall 987 as being the approximate year when the Carolingian (Franconian) Dynasty ended, though the exact year is disputed by some historians. About 987, the Capetian Dynasty began the “House of France.”
