James Daniel Ward cousin! Happy to help-- her is a duplicate here: Maj. John Ward It isn't easy but is worth it to learn or at least is a good idea to notify others and ask them to look. I 'll do this one. Just wasn't sure why it isn't showing as a duplicate or if there was a reason to not merge

The duplicate is a curated profile. I made the request. Curators call that "stacking" them but who knows WHY that is.
