I have developed a technique that can detect Sephardic ancestry in persons who are ostensibly Ashkenazic. For persons who have already done the basic genetic genealogy test (such as Family Finder, 23andMe, AncestryDNA), no further testing is necessary. A file conversion is necessary which is not expensive, and the modeling chart is even less than that (together US$20). To view a sample study: https://1drv.ms/u/s!AuwT-4qnkJLBjk1EnhIe9qQb_Uq2?e=jyY1Dd If your result is in the shaded area, then Sephardic ancestry is confirmed. Nice work!

This appears to be a principal components analysis, which seems reasonable. It's great seeing such an approach applied to this type of challenge, using readily available data sources. Elegant.

Can't help but wonder if a support vector approach, or even gradient boosting, could yield a similar such delineation between the two classes (Ashkenaz vs Sephardic), though the return-on-effort may not be as high as when using PCA.

Great work.
