I am trying to piece together my family tree on the Smith side. Born in England but as the story went cane to Australia being a Dr on the ship and left his family in England, wife and children. Never returned to England.
So hard to piece it all together.
Smiths in Australia always carry the names of either, John, Thomas or William.
