'Stirnet tentatively suggests that Marjorie Hepburn may be a daughter of Sir Patrick Hepburn of Hailes, Kt. and his wife Lady Agnes Dunbar but she is not mentioned in the Scots Peerage account of the family, The Scots Peerage: pp. 136-7 and evidence of relationship is presently wanting.
