Household and Death Record in Ekeby Parish clearly identify her birth as 1771 in Torpa Parish in Ostergoland. Torpa Parish records for 1771 have two Catharina births to fathers named Mans; one to Måns Pehrssson from Tranudden (15-OCT) and another to Måns Svensson from Stockmalen in Tranberga (08-SEP).
Household record for Måns Svensson in 1783-1790 period was not found by me. Record may be hidden under smudge for Knutstrop (a farmstead listed before/above Stockmanen in the Household Record. (See reference below)
