The family tree hints (matches) that I had in Ancestry,com show Hugh Reed 1787-1818, his father as John Reed 1758-1824, and Hugh Reed 1728-1785. In Geni John's brother William 1789-1872 shows in his place on the tree. I have gone around and around trying to figure it out, but the dates John 1758-1818 still fit best. Any ideas?
