I seem to have awoken from a slumber of a week or so grading exams and found that Placeholder Lewis and Placeholder Lewis are occupied by N.N. Lewis and Lewis

My ancestor Patience Harrelson had not been attached to any parents and had a note that she was not related to Warner Hall. What has changed? Do we have some new information? Erica Howton ?????

No intention to cause a fluff - was attempting to merge. There don't seem to be any training videos on "common errors to avoid." Looked like the name "Placeholder" was rejecting the attempt to merge, so deleted the name "Placeholder".

Susanne - have had the same thing happen also on lines of ancestors - sometimes the Geni links seem like Harry Potter's stairways - not always in the place you left them. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Thanks Erica Howton and totally understand, Private User. Good description of how it seems sometimes and yes, when Geni is new, all kinds of weird can happen. We have just been through quite a bit over the parentage of Patience Harrelson.
