Daniel Malone, of Bristol Parish - Need a curator please and thank you

The current mess might be the result of an incorrect merger of profiles for two different Daniel Malones. Or, of course, just the result of incorrect information being entered (one of the downsides of Geni, as there is no formal vetting of data that are added).

A lot of information about his children is documented in his will (dated 11-3-1795, proved 12-28-1795). This is not necessarily an exhaustive list, of course.

If there are any bad merges, I couldn't find them; if they exist, they exist before the "unmerge" function will work. So you will need people familiar with that area and time.

Looks like someone has already cleaned up at least part of the mess since this morning. There were a number of children listed as children of an additional wife of Daniel Malone, who now seems to have been removed from the tree. These were children not listed in Daniel's will and so likely had been added in error at some point. There may still be a bit more to edit - Daniel is still listed as "half brother of wife Mary Winngham". Doesn't seem likely!
