@ Samuel Waggoner, Jr
Samuel had two wives. First being Elizabeth "Betty" Crozier [m: abt 1734] and second being Mary Tate Perkins [m: 9 Dec 1792]. In Geni documentation of Samuel's children, the term "step-children" is associated with Elizabeth. All of Samuel's children where with Elizabeth. His marriage to Mary Tate [Perkins] in 1792 would have Samuel at age of 72. And, he lived 14 additional years before his died in 1805 in Stokes County, NC.
It's my understanding that there where no children in the last 14 years of Samuel's life. If there is not any children, then the children shown are not step-children of Elizabeth

Thank you for looking into validity of data presented by geni.com
My primary interest is in Samuel and Elizabeth's son, William Jeffers Waggoner Sr who is a ancestor of my wife who is a Waggoner by birth.
