I and Debra Denman are researching the wives of Eustache II, any additional assistance is always helpful.
What we have is three different wives, different names and different families, and depending on the source, each is the mother of the same five children. Following is the initial look, but for now what I’m thinking of doing is to disconnect all three wives from Eustache II de Fiennes and add a placeholder unknown wife so that I can attach all five children. Cawley at FmgMedlands says 1) the name of the wife is unknown and 2) she was the mother of all five children, so proceeding in this way is a partial solution, and will allow continuing work on the children and down the tree. The continuing discussion here will document any research.
Family Search here https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/family/L5NF-TYK says the mother is Anne de Dreux, daughter of Louis the Fat.
The History of Europe says the mother is Jeanne de Sainte-Aldegonde here: http://www.histoireeurope.fr/RechercheLocution.php?Locutions=Jeanne... This is also the opinion of Etienne Pattou.
And thirdly, the book Nobiliaire Pays-Bas et du comte de Bourgogne says on page 225 that the mother is Francoise de Miraumont, Dame du Bois en Ponthieu. Here: https://www.google.com/books/edition/Nobiliaire_des_Pays_Bas_et_du_...
It would be interesting if it were Francoise de Miraumont as her title dame du Bois might indicate that the toponymic du Bois was added to de Fiennes jure uxoris in this marriage. Was it in this generation that the surname de Fiennes du Bois first occurred? This is a critical question in the current effort on this surname.
In addition to the three differing sources above I’ve checked several of my go to sources on Geneanet and surprisingly they too show three different wives in three different trees!
