Is this photo actually of Sarah Boyd
The photo appears to be a daguerreotype which wasn't developed till 1839-1860 - given that Sarah was born in 1740 I don't think it can be a photo of her.
It appears to be a doctored version of these photos on pinterest

What is the source for this being a photograph of Sarah?
Arlis Deanna Taylor thanks for removing the obviously incorrect photograph.
Could you please review other photographs that you have added and remove those that have been inadvertently attached to the wrong profiles.
Thanks
Leanne
A woman would not have used a coat of arms for someone with her husband's surname, and there's no evidence that her husband had this as his coat of arms, so I'm going to de-tag the image.
Sharing your source/attribution on each image can help ensure accuracy and avoid questions. I recommend it for all Geni users.
Hi, Arlis. Can you point to the source showing that John Boyd, I was entitled to this coat of arms, and that Sarah Griffin used it? None of the sources on either profile discuss heraldry, so I'm not sure where you're wanting me to look. Thanks for your help.
