Anna Margaretha Lachmann Scheel was the Daughter of Margaretha Dorothea Sophia Scheel who was the daughter of Frederich Peter Scheel, who was the son of Detlef Christian Scheel. Friederich Peter Scheel was the brother of Anna Margaretha Scheel and she Married Hinrich Schoening.(My Great Great Grandfather) Margaretha Dorothea Sophia Scheel (known as Dora) is listed on Clipper ship John Bertram in May of 1858 with her brother August and the Hinrich Schoening family. In the1860 census Dora is listed with her husband Bernard Lachman and Son Herman. A daughter Anna Margaretha Lachman would be born two years later on 5 Jan. 1862. Dora would divorce Lachman and she would marry Jens Hanen.
