Captain Jeffrey (Geoffrey) Champlin, Sr. - Jeffreys father?

Hey there cousin! In all of my research I have never found mention of Geoffrey's father. There are no surviving records of his emigration, because it was all burned by the British in Massachusetts. The only thing left to do, that I can think of, is to reach out to the county of his birth in England to see if they have tax records or census records dating back that far.
