My great grandfather's name was Avraham Tabenkin from the Minsk/Kopyl district. His wife's name was Marian or Miriam, and their children were Julius (Yudyl) and Benjamin. I was alway told that all Tabenkins were related since it is not an overly common name, yet I cannot find a relationship specifically to Yitzchak Tabenkin or other Tabenkins that are not specifically on my tree. I am also a newbie in genealogy, but I would like to trace this particular relationship. Any ideas or info? Thank you.
