Occupation: Painter -- Father's Birth Place: Russia -- Mother's Birth Place: Russia -- Father: Elias Qlaser -- Mother: Rochel Qlaser -- Executor: Etta Iloser -- Executor Relationship: Wife -- Certificate Number: 49

Lesar on the Marriage Record and Elias on that Death Record could easily both be for Eliazer
Both records have the mother as Rochel

On the 1930 Census, her widowed husband is listed as Max Glaser, living with their daughter Lynette and their daughter Minnie and Minnie's husband and children. Max is listed as 60 years old, immigrated in 1885. Max is listed as Retired there, but on other recotds as a Painter.
On the 1940 Census, Minnie and her husband and children are living at the address given for Max's death in that Death Record.

Census records verify there was a Glaser family with children with those first names and father usually listed as Max, mother variously listed including Etta
-- This is the family for this couple now.

Of the Menashe profile - two of the three children have been removed: Joseph Glaser and Penny Sneider-Mitchell Glaser. and both siblings: Gertrude Glaser and Samuel Glaser
And the parents

Of the Max Glaser profile -- all the children have been kept, but the parents and sibling have been removed.

On Sep 30, 2018 many changes were made by Jonathan Wolfson who used to be a Geni Curator but no longer has a Geni account, and he did not leave any documentation.

The merge of Menashe and Max was obviously incorrect. We need to restore things back to the way they should be, as you have suggested.

Yaakov Moshe Schatz - think it is pretty clear the merge was wrong, But how it was before was also wrong.

I see you have changed the names of a number of the profiles, mostly much for the better I think.
However -- I think Mordechai Yakov Alter Glaser (Alter for short) and Etta's husband (now named Moshe (Max) Glaser - Max Glaser ) are not really brothers, So there is no way to make the same parents correct for both of them.
Alter's parents probably are Tzvi Glaser and Sadie (Kaplan) Glaser - based on an entry I found in JOWBR (see his Death Event on his Timeline for the info). That means we need to split the brothers and create a new set of parents for one of them, I think. But can we figure more out before doing that?

- Alter on his Nat. Petition says his wife was Matilda. So - was he not only connected to the wrong sibling but also to the wrong wife?
Elyse Vahjen(c) - his wife currently shows as Pearl (Deutscher) Glaser, so shares a maiden name with you. Are Pearl and Matilda the same? Or is Pearl married to somebody completely different or?

Lois is correct - this merger was an error. There are two different Max Glasers - one married to a Rae Kritchevsky (my grandmother) died in 1969 and one married to the Etta Rae Levinkind. I doubt that Etta Rae was a Kritchevsky. Can they be un-merged? I don't know how to manage this stuff yet.

Jeffrey S Sneider is Rae Glaser a current profile for the Rae Kritchevsky that is your grandmother? And if so, does the current profile for her husband Max Max Glaser have the wrong Profile Photo?

However, only the 1930 Census is for the Max Glaser married to a Rae Kritchevsky (Jeffrey's grandmother) who died in 1969.

The Photo and MyHeritage family tree from the Soltvin Family website are for a different Max Glaser - they are for Max Glaser married to the Etta Rae Levinkind. (who was not a Kritchevsky)
The two Max Glasers are not the same person.
