1. Pranciskus Szwaranowicz born 12 March 1881 in Kaunas, Lithuania. That's a VERY large area. On his death record in Pennsylvania in 1923, It lists his father's name as Petrus Szwaranowicz.
2. He immigrated first to Glasgow, Scotland about 1903 and after a few months working there, to the USA in 1903.
3. He married in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to a woman from Pociuneliai, a widow.
4. The names Peter and Paul are found in this family lineage in the USA.
I located a Ricardas Ivanauskas in Lithuania that has completed extensive EARLIER work on Szwaranowicz in the parish records of KREKENAVA, Panevezys County, Northern Lithuania. The family seemed to be there into the 1880s. I am hoping to tie into this tree.
What I am hoping to locate is Pranciskus "Frank" Szwaranowicz birth or baptismal record verifying his father's name as Petrus and perhaps his mother's name and/or siblings.
Then, if very lucky, his father Petrus birth/Baptismal information with HIS father's name to tie into this existing tree.
