The Thomas Jones born c. 1690 in Wales, U.K. married to Thankful, settling in the colony of Massachusetts which became Maine is not the same as the Thomas who settled in Virginia, and may not be the son of Thomas Jones and Martha Haskins of Virginia.
Thomas Jones born in Wales, died in Harpswell, Maine in 1794. He does not appear to have ever been in Virginia.
The parents ofThomas Jones of Maine are not known to me, but most likely lived and died in Wales.
