I was named after sister & visited her & wrote to her ever since I was a little girl. I would go with my mom, Marion, and my great Aunt Ann. When she passed away I attended the service & one of her sister friends took me to Sr. Marietta’s chapel “seat” & gave me the contents of the shelf which contained her missal, rosary beads, & a few other items. Sister told me Sr. Marietta had instructed her I was to be given them upon her death. I have them in a special place as I was so thankful to have her treasured possessions. I continued writing to her until her death sharing her thoughts on her new modern clothes & how dark her once red hair was from years of being covered by her habit. Wonderful memories!
