Going through records to day I realized my 4th great grandmother is listed as Black on a Census it even looks like someone might have tried to change that it. I had to really look at at the Census. Im 90% sure its the same person considering I have dna matches to my 5th great grandfather and mother through there other children.
It might explain why gedmatch gives me a small amount of African but I would think it would be higher. What do you think? Has anyone else seen this happen before?
