The painting you show with this profile is not Spencer de Horsey whose birth name was Spencer Horsey Kilderbee. He was born on the 2 September 1790 Campsea Ash, Suffolk the son of the Rev Samuel Kilderbee and his wife Caroline. He only assumed the name de Horsey in April 1832, it being derived from his mother's family. The portrait is in fact of his grandfather Samuel Kilderbee and was painted by Thomas Gainsborough.
