The father of Dr. Albert Holmes Rowe was NOT born in Gloucester. He was born in New Jersey and died in California in 1914. He is my second great grandfather and I have a copy of his obituary. This is a mistaken connection I've found on MANY sites and it's very frustrating. Please feel free to contact me and I will happily provide census records that show Albert Rowe Sr in Oakland, alive, in 1910.
