I am looking for information on my paternal relatives originateing in Jemnice in the 1800's.

With the help of the Jemnice 1857 census we have identified the family of my great great grand parents. Low Mayer (Maier) born and his wife Katerine Ruberl both born circa 1790. They had nine children. The eldest was Moses Mayer (b. 1821) who married Rosalie Krenberger. Then they had Josef (1826), Albert (1829),Franciska (1831), Josefina Pepi (1830), twins Jakob and Isak (1836), and Marie (1840).

My great grandfather Jakob Mayer married Cacilie Lowe (b. 1852 in Deschen [Destna]). They had my grandfather Ludwig (b. 1881 in Rudolec) and Frantiska (1883), Gisella (1884), and Louise (Alouise) (1886).

Ludwig migrated to Vienna and married Olga Pilzer (b. 1881 Vienna). Olga Pilzer's was the child of Lazar Ferdinand Pilzer (b. 1849 in Żywiec, Silesian Voivodeship, Poland) and Therese (Esther) Donath (b. 1854 Jemnice). There was adoptd by Donath, but her mother was a Mayer from Jemnice.

I would appreciate if anyone can add to our knowledge of this family.

Bob Mayer
