Greetings and I hope this finds all well. My surname is Henry and I think that side of the family came from Mlawa as indicated on some records. Many Henrys are buried at the Mt Zion Cemetery in Maspeth, NY in the Plotzker Society.
Would anyone know of emigration from Mlawa to Hamburg in the 1860's-1880's?
I do not know if I will ever be able to determine what the surname was but have recently discovered that my g g grandfather first name was Henoch.
