Machteld Erasmus (van der Merwe), b2c4d6 - The correct wife of Lourens Erasmus

Boek der Gestorwene, Land van Waveren - https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CSKD-F3LY?i=426&am... - Gives date as 9 Dec 1761 "Machtelt van der Merwe huijsv. van Lourens Erasmus".

It appears the Maria might have been added by her much later, Though it's not on her notice of death.

Parents shown here as Willem van der Merwe and Elsie van Heerden.

Were there two with name of Machteld or Machteltje married to a Lourens Erasmus?

Appears she is "the" Machteld Maria, but not the one married to Lourens Erasmus

Charlette Louise Hoppe In http://databases.tanap.net/mooc/main_article.cfm?id=MOOC8%2F13%2E52... there is a child, "10) Magtelt Maria van der Merve oud 6 jaaren" and a grandchild "11) Martha Erasmus bij representatie van wijlen Magtelt van der Merve getrouwt geweest met Lourens Erasmus". Thus it seems that Magtelt was the elder one, already deceased, married to Lourens, with child Martha, and Magtelt Maria was a younger sister, at least 10 years her junior, possibly up to 20.

The Machteltje whose baptism record you linked appears unrelated to the daughter of Gerrit who was married to Lourens

Therefore, I request that the current Machteld, son of Willem, be unlinked from Lourens, and the Machteld Maria, son of Gerrit, be linked to him, as in my first post in the discussion.
